 Welcome to the Real African Art Gallery in Zanzibar The Real African Art gallery was established by Mrs. Anita Sitta in 2001 and has been a great success ever since. The building that houses the gallery is situated in Zanzibars historic Stone Town and was acquired by Mrs. Sitta in 2008. It has recently been renovated and we are proud to announce that the gallery now extends to all floor levels of the building. The gallery offers a series of high quality artwork by East African artists that have become successful abroad but are little know within their own community. The works presented are carefully selected by the gallery owner and her assistants. They uphold very high selection criteria to ensure you that only the highest standard of what is produced in the East African art world passes through the Real African Art gallery. Mrs. Sitta dedicates all her time to the gallery and she works tirelessly in order to promote the East African art scene and make it better known to the wider public. She is widely connected nationally and internationally and personally takes care of any artwork that is to be shipped abroad.
